I've spent the last three years
creating content for YouTube
and I can say with 100 certainty
that YouTube
saved my life I'm not being hyperbolic
or dramatic I'm just being 100 honest
three years ago my life was a mess I had
zero Direction and very little ambition
I even have two college degrees that I
was doing nothing with except bartending
that's right I was slinging drinks and
completely miserable
so in December of 2018
I gave my YouTube channel the name
ultimate Tech Hub and it took me over a
month to muster up enough courage to
film my first video and it was pretty
bad
fast forward over three years later
and over 350 videos I think I'm getting
a little bit better now when I say
YouTube saved my life I'm not referring
to the company YouTube or Google or
whatever I'm referring to the process of
creating videos for YouTube
this process of script writing filming
editing
thumbnails titles descriptions marketing
and analyzing data changed my life
forever it forced me to become someone I
was not to be 100 honest with you I was
not a great speaker I was not outgoing I
even hated to be filmed or had pictures
taken of me and to make matters worse I
was terrible with the camera and had no
idea how to edit videos so my YouTube
channel should be a complete disaster
but it's not and that's because YouTube
saved my life and changed it forever
everything I was not I have now become
some people may refer to this as a
midlife crisis
but if that's what this is
this is certainly no crisis this is a
blessing and everyone should have a
midlife crisis or a mid-life blessing
and YouTube is a life lesson that we
should all experience
it will humble you
it will tear you down and then build you
back up
it will make you frustrated it will make
you angry
and then it'll bring you Joy and because
of this process of creating videos for
YouTube
I feel like I've become a better person
a happier person
more patient less anger and most
importantly more giving and when that
time comes and I'm no longer here
whether it's one year from now or five
years or ten years this YouTube channel
will live on
because I'm giving this channel
to my children
all three of them will run this channel
when I'm gone and because they're
intelligent outgoing and creative this
channel will be in great hands
so lastly
this is my testimony to my wife my
children my family my friends my
co-workers my neighbors
everyone on YouTube including my
subscribers and viewers and all 8
billion people
on this Earth
YouTube without a doubt
saved my life
