Toputure TP6 6-in-1 Folding Treadmill Review

What’s up, guys and gals? Welcome back to the channel. On today’s video, we’re reviewing a treadmill from a company called Toputure. This is the TP6, a 6-in-1 folding treadmill that includes an adjustable handlebar and a magnetic remote control.

It also features a 2.5 horsepower motor that runs very quietly. I can barely hear it while using it. The TP6 includes three adjustable incline settings: 1%, 6%, and 12%.

This treadmill is currently priced at $279, so the price is definitely attractive. Let’s take a look at all the features, test drive it, and find out if it is worth buying.

First, let’s talk about setup because this was surprisingly easy. The TP6 arrives already assembled inside the box.

Simply unbox it, remove the styrofoam and packaging, lay it on the ground, raise the handlebars, snap on the cell phone holder, plug it in, and power it on.

One more important step is downloading the Fit Show app. This app connects to the treadmill using Bluetooth. The full setup process only took about 10 minutes.

One thing to note is that this treadmill only weighs 56 pounds, so moving it from room to room is very easy.

You can also store it against a wall, under a bed, or under a couch, which is a fantastic space-saving feature.

The handlebars can be adjusted forward or backward. All you need to do is tighten the knobs on both sides to lock them into position.

Personally, I like the handlebars positioned farther away, but if you prefer them closer, you can leave them that way.

At the front of the treadmill, there are four controls: speed up, speed down, start/stop, and a preset button. It also includes an emergency stop for safety.

At the top, there is a phone or tablet holder. At the bottom, there is an incline adjustment system.

When adjusting the incline, make sure to also adjust the stabilizers on both sides so the treadmill stays level and does not wobble.

Another great feature is the speed range. This treadmill goes from walking speed all the way up to 7.5 mph.

I tested the TP6 at maximum speed, and there was no wobble or instability, which is very impressive for a portable treadmill.

There is also a large display screen that shows time, speed, calories burned, and distance traveled.

It is recommended to get 10,000 steps per day to help lower blood pressure and burn calories.

A great trick to burn more calories faster is to use incline settings like 6% or even 12%. That is why I keep this treadmill set at 6% incline most of the time.

The TP6 includes dual shock absorption, which helps reduce joint pain when walking, jogging, or running.

I was a little concerned because I have bad knees, but after running at maximum speed for over 10 minutes, I had no sore knees at all.

One of the best features is being able to walk while working in my studio. I can literally edit videos while walking. It is a two-for-one productivity boost.

The TP6 also includes a one-year warranty, so there is peace of mind if anything breaks.

The maximum weight capacity is up to 300 pounds, so if you are taller or heavier, this treadmill can still handle it.

As far as maintenance goes, there is only one thing you need to do every 3 to 6 months: add treadmill lubricant.

The lubricant helps protect the belt and motor and keeps everything running smoothly. If you do not apply lubricant, the motor can eventually burn out.

If you start hearing winding sounds or unusual noise from the belt or motor, that is usually a sign that it is time to add lubricant.

A bottle of treadmill lubricant costs around $7 on Amazon and can last a very long time.

For me, the best feature is still the Fit Show app. Once connected through Bluetooth, you can hit quick start and begin your workout immediately.

The app tracks laps, duration, distance, calories, and speed. It even includes motivating music and shows other users currently working out.

The lap feature is especially nice because it gives you a stronger sense of accomplishment and pushes you to keep going.
