Final Verdict: Is It Worth It?

The Ruko U11 is an excellent beginner drone. If you're looking for a budget-friendly first drone that’s easy to fly and offers solid performance, this is a great choice. However, if high-quality video is a priority, you may want to invest in a drone with built-in stabilization.

RUKO U11 Product

If you're buying your first drone, avoid spending $500 or more. As a beginner, you’re likely to crash, damage, or lose your first drone. Instead, consider the Ruko U11 4K drone, which is affordable and beginner-friendly.

The Ruko U11 includes:

  • A user manual
  • Remote control with return, follow mode, and speed settings
  • Two 20-minute flight batteries (40 minutes total)
  • Three charging cables
  • Extra blades, screws, and a screwdriver
  • Carrying case

Before flying, charge the batteries fully and download the Ruko app. Next, unfold the drone’s legs, insert the battery, and power it on. Secure your phone to the remote and connect via Wi-Fi.

Each time you start the drone, a compass calibration is required. Rotate the drone horizontally and vertically until you hear a beep—now you're ready to fly!

The drone is very responsive, so be careful during your first flights. However, there are a few key limitations:

  • No obstacle avoidance
  • No stabilization (video footage may be shaky in wind)

The Ruko U11 is a fantastic starter drone. While the video quality isn't the best, it’s durable and flies well. If you're on a budget and need a beginner-friendly drone, this is a solid choice.
