Hi guys, welcome back! On today’s episode, I'm going to show you all the CPUs that are compatible with the ASUS Prime B450 motherboard.
We've done a few videos already on this board—installation, unboxing, and a review—but we’ve received lots of questions about which CPUs work with it. So, here’s the full compatibility list.
There are approximately 65 CPUs that work with this board, from entry-level Athlon chips to high-end Ryzen 9 Pro processors.
Compatible Athlon CPUs:
200, 200 Raven 2, 220, 220 Raven 2, 240, 240 Raven 2, 3000, and Pro 300.
Ryzen 3 Series:
1200 AF, 1300X, 2200G, 2200GE, 3100, 3200G, 3200GE, and 3300X.
Ryzen 3 Pro:
1200, 1300, 3200G, 3200GE, and 4350GE.
Ryzen 5 Series:
1400, 1500X, 1600, 1600 AF, 1600X, 2400G, 2400GE, 2600, 2600X, 3400G, 3400GE, 3500, 3500X, 3600, 3600X, 3600XT, and 5600X.
Ryzen 5 Pro:
1500, 1600, 3400G, 3400GE, 3600, and 4650GE.
Ryzen 7 Series:
1700, 1700X, 1800X, 2700, 2700X, 3700X, 3800X, 3800XT, and 5800X.
Ryzen 7 Pro:
1700, 1700X, 3700, and 4750GE.
Ryzen 9 Series:
3900, 3900X, 3900XT, 3950X, 5900X, and 5950X.
Ryzen 9 Pro:
