[Music] what's up guys welcome back to the channel thank you for showing up i really appreciate it you guys are awesome and guys before we get started make sure to check out our patreon where two dollars a month helps keep this channel going and remember if you found this video helpful and you liked it give a thumbs up and share it so enough with the formalities let's get started so today i want to show you four tools for network installations low voltage installs and home network projects every tool that i show you today is what i consider a must-have and to keep this video from being too long i'm only going to show you four tools now i know i'll get hundreds of comments about tools that i left out in this list but remember it's only four tools so i'm bound to miss some tools you think are important but that's okay leave your opinions in the comments below i'm all good with that so now let's get started alright guys let's take a look at my top four networking tools first tool network cable tester this number cable tester is from a company called client tools i have a link in the description and price for this tool but this is a must have tool for networking it's one of my favorite tools this tests for voice data and video you can see the connections right here for cat 3 cat 5e cat6 and for coax as a network installer this is a must-have because if something goes wrong on the network this tool will help you find out what went wrong so definitely get one of these there's a lot of brands out there they're around 100 maybe 60 to 100 a good one is 100 bucks but you definitely need one of these second tool you're going to need easy crimping tool now this is a professional grade rugged heavy duty i recommend spending a little bit of money on this you want this to be durable especially if you use this a lot also make sure it has the blades right here for cutting and for also doing stripping of wires so it really it's a three-in-one tool it's a no-brainer you've got to have this and this terminates cat 3 all the way to cat 5e cat6 and i believe cat7 and because this is an easy pass-through cripping tool when you're terminating rj45 easy connectors this is perfect because the end here cuts off the rest of the wires so spend some money about 40 bucks i'll have links for this also in the description below and my third must-have networking tool is a coax cable hip kit you have everything you need here the terminate coax cable and once again this one's about 39 i would go ahead and get the one that's more heavy duty they make them a little bit cheaper than this you can get one pipe for 19 but like i said you get what you pay for if you're gonna use this a lot spend a little extra money for the heavy duty but it's a must-have and the fourth networking tool you're gonna need is not even a networking tool but it is a stud finder this is super important when you're looking for studs in the walls and this stud finder also detects water pipes as well as electrical wires pretty cool so i recommend getting a good stud finder digital that can detect studs electrical and plumbing because the last thing you want to do is drill into some pipes and start a water leak get my drift and i just say there's only four tools but i'm gonna give you one more tool you're gonna need it's a multi-tool this tool is a flathead and a phillips with all different sizes perfect when you're on the go this multi-tool is fantastic it's got four different flat heads and four different phillips head sizes perfect you can put this in your pocket it's even got a clip on your side your hip perfect and like i said at the beginning of this video you're going to notice i left out a lot of tools for networking but i wanted to keep it short and simple but these tools are a must have and you will need these when you're doing network installations but feel free in the comments to give me your opinions i want to hear them and once again guys thank you for watching i really appreciate it you guys are awesome make sure to follow us on instagram and check out our patreon page where two dollars a month helps keep this channel going so guys once again thank you so much and i'll see you guys in the next video real soon peace
