Hi everyone, today we're going to install a webcam on a desktop computer. I'm mike and this is the ultimate tech hub So guy's todays video is about the installation of a webcam this NOT a review of any product. So when purchasing this webcam we had a few different criteria we had to meet first it had to be Full HD which means 1080p at also had to be a one piece meaning the camera and the wire usb had to be in one piece and also the clip that holds it to the screen needs to be adjustable for flat monitors or curved monitors. and also the reviews had to be a four and half to five stars. and lastly the webcam had to be around 40 dollars or less. so we chose this webcam. like I said before this is NOT a product review however, if you want to purchase this particular webcam they'll be a link in the description below. Let's get started. As you can see it comes in one piece. the camera head swivels nicely. and the mounting bracket can adjust to multiple angles and multiple widths. which should work nicely for curved monitors So today, I'm going to install this onto two different desktop computers. one desktop is my sons ( Sebastian ) And he has the Samsung Curved Monitor We'll try out the webcam and see how it works. And then I'm going to install it on my system My Desktop Monitor is a flat screen! So let's go ahead and clip this to my sons monitor. Like I said its a curved monitor and the webcam fits nice! I can adjust the camera location later after we get it hooked up. Now, simply plug in the webcams USB cable into ANY available USB port on your computer. so after plugging in the USB webcam cable Windows should detect this device and give it a moment and you should see your face on the screen. ( Use Zoom or Skype To access the webcam ) So, here is a closeup of the bracket that holds it to the monitor. The webcam bracket let's you move things around pretty easily. Up and down and left and right... Let's go ahead and see the camera quality on the computer. Now this is Full HD which is nice. ( Zoom ) And it does mean 1080p. And for most people 1080p is plenty. especially when doing some gaming with friends or live streams. My son uses discord and it works great for that as well! There's also a microphone on this particular model. And this camera has built-in noise reduction! which is good for conference calls or online classes. So now I'm going to set this up on my desktop computer in my office. The monitor i"m using is an ACER and its a flat screen. the installation is exactly the same let's check out the video quality on this particular monitor. this ACER is a 2K monitor so it might look a little bit better. My sons monitor was just a 1080p.
