Ozark Trail 10x10 Canopy and Rechargeable Lantern Review

hi everyone and welcome back to the ultimate tech hub so guys it's time to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors and we found two products from ozark trail that'll help you do that the first product is a 10 foot by 10 foot slant leg canopy and the second product is a rechargeable led lantern so let's go ahead and take a look at the canopy first this 10 foot by 10 foot slanted leg canopy comes in a blue carrying case it also comes with tent stakes so if you're at the beach or camping this is a great way to secure it so you can also use weights or sandbags to secure the tent as well so i'm going to show you how to set this up twice for our very first setup i'm going to have some people help me set this up for a block party and you're probably wondering is it possible to set this tent up by yourself well after we get done setting this up for the block party i'm going to show exactly how to set this up by yourself so let's go over the contents of the 10 foot by 10 foot canopy first you get a durable 10 foot by 10 foot steel frame and you get the eight foot by eight foot blue canopy which provides 64 square feet of coverage and you also get tent stakes so let's talk about the frame it comes in one big piece you simply push the legs away from each other and once the legs are far enough apart you can begin to push the cross beams up and there's orange push buttons at the bottom that let you raise the canopy up higher so once the canopy is stretched out all the way and you push the cross beams up high as possible there's a snapping system that snaps everything into place it kind of locks it in so you can see here we are putting the blue canopy on before we even set the tent up all the way and the blue canopy is attached with velcro at the corners and on the side poles as well and we use weights to secure our poles here in the street it does come with some drawstring so you can secure it even further if you want to especially in windy conditions and we're done that was it pretty simple now i'm going to show you how i did it by myself in my backyard now doing this by yourself you're going to need some patience the key to doing this by yourself is to get that frame out as wide as possible next you want to take the blue canopy and go from corner to corner using the velcro so you're going to attach each corner of the canopy to the corner of the metal frame and here's a close-up of how that actually works see right there just fell through it and you can use the stakes to secure it to the ground my ground is much too hard it's desert so i'm using rocks then using the orange buttons you can raise the canopy to its full height so my technique is going left to right clockwise just press the orange button and the pole extension will slide out done now finish pushing the poles as far apart as you can [Music] next push up on the ceiling beam like this at each corner at the top of the frame there's a snap in and you push it all the way up it'll snap in and lock [Music] and make sure to snap this in on all four corners and also make sure to hit subscribe it's free as you secure the frame all the way at the top you might need to readjust the canopy the velcro parts once you raise the canopy high enough it will go over this locking mechanism and then it's secure afterwards you can velcro the inside poles the horizontal poles so this is how you set this canopy by yourself it's very doable as far as the review goes i really like this canopy my backyard gets very windy and this held up very well it provides a lot of shade too and the price of this canopy is under forty dollars it's a great deal we highly recommend it now let's take a look at the ozark trail rechargeable led lantern this lantern comes with three different settings you have a high medium and a low as well as off the back of the lantern is where you plug in the usb charger [Music] the lantern itself isn't very heavy it's pretty lightweight and with the metal handle you can hang it on virtually anything another nice feature about this lantern is the compartment underneath the bottom this is where you store your usb cable to charge the lanyard and i found there was enough room in here to add a utility knife or maybe some matches or maybe even a small first aid kit so let's go ahead and show you how this looks in different situations [Music] okay this is our first example this is a medium setting i did have this on the high setting but i found it too bright [Music] especially for fireworks okay this is the high setting [Music] this setting will be good in a large area but in close quarters it's just too bright and here is the low one of the nice speakers about this lantern is it's easy to store in a backpack and if you have a power bank you can keep this lantern charged for days which is great for camping or road trips so at the 35 price point you really can't go wrong i would definitely recommend this product so after setting up and reviewing
