if you live in a large single story home a large twostory home or three story home or maybe even a home with a basement then you know the struggle of having a weak Wi-Fi signal in many areas of your home or even worse no Wi-Fi signal at all well today we may have found that solution this is the TP Link Deco xe70 Pro this is a Wi-Fi 6E mesh router that covers up to 7200 ft and connects up to 200ic and this mesh router can achieve speeds at the 4.9 gbits per second but that will depend upon your isp's max speed and of course your end devices each router contains a 2.5 gig ram Port which in theory should allow for a multi- gig experience however because these Deco units only contain one 2.5 gig ram Port this means you will not get a true multi- gigabit experience and this is because as a single router or a mesh system the deck o XC70 Pro can only use its multi- gig port to do one of these three things it can either host a 2.5 gig broadband connection or it can host a 2.5 gig local device like a server or it can handle a multi-gigabit wired back calling between a two pack mesh system to get a true multi- gig wired experience this Hardware must be able to handle at least two of these three tasks at the same time so this could be a deal breaker if you have a multi- gig broadband connection however The Deco xt70 Pro can achieve faster than gigabit speeds but only as a single router and not a mesh system so if you connect the 2.5 gig W port to a high-speed broadband connection you can then use the router's Wi-Fi to deliver gigabit plus speeds to Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E devices but with this setup you will not achieve a multi- gig wired experience and all three units only contain two 1 gig lamp ports so if you're home network has many wired devices you'll either need to buy a switch or you'll need to buy a mesh system with more lamp ports The Deco axe 4,900 Pro includes the router and two mesh nodes which are about the size of a large coffee cup this means you can place these nodes anywhere and most people won't even notice them and it's great for that minimal look this router also features AI driven mesh for a smooth and seamless mesh Wi-Fi environment and don't forget this mesh router includes the latest and greatest 6 GHz band for faster speeds and throughput so the Deco xe70 Pro is really designed for very large homes with less than 1 gbit Broadband connections and a home network with very few wired devices installing and setting up the XC70 Pro is pretty easy so we're going to test the speeds and the range of the Deco XC70 Pro and see how well it performs in a very large home and our home is almost 3,000 ft single story and here are the results of our wir less speed tests all three units were placed about 25 ft away from each other using a wireless back hul and using a wired back haul would be optimal however for our testing purposes we use the wireless back haul because the majority of people will use this setup as a wireless back hul it's much easier and way more convenient so the 2.4 GHz band performed as expected with 140 megabits per second at 10 ft and about 71 megabits per second at 40 ft the five GHz band performed very well we got 622 megabits per second at 10 ft and 529 megabits per second at 40 ft and the 6 GHz band also performed very well we got 924 megabits per second at 10 ft and 790 megabits per second at 40 ft and with both a five and 6 GHz band our speed tests were clear line of sight to the router no obstructions as far as Wi-Fi range goes each mesh unit should cover around 1,00 ft but this will depend upon the layout of your home and where you place the mesh units and it will take some trial and error to find the optimal area for each mesh unit and lastly our wired speed tests performed very well we achieved our maximum ISP speeds one of the great things that I love about the XC70 Pro is that it works great right out of the box which means no complicated setups and that's great for people that don't want to mess around with networking settings and to be clear this is not the fastest me mesh router on the market however it is the cheapest so if you're looking for a budget friendly Wi-Fi 6C mesh system then The Deco XC70 Pro is the right choice the TP Link Deco XC70 Pro product link will be in the description below and with that guys make sure to like share subscribe and comment and for God's sakes smash the Bell icon and I'll see you in the next video real soon high five peace
