on today's video we're going to take a
look at a webcam from a company called
tenvis
this model is the tw888
and this is a 1080p business webcam with
microphone
this webcam has a 120 degree viewing
angle
which is perfect for conference calls
with multiple people
and this webcam also includes a mini
tripod
and this webcam has a 360 degree
rotation
and moves up and down in this webcam is
a plug and play
no drivers are required let's open the
box and see what's inside

you get two customer service activation
cards
you'll need to scan the qr code to
activate it
you get a detailed user manual and you
get the webcam
and the usb cord is connected to the
camera i like that
the mounting clip has a hole for a
tripod and the camera can rotate
360 degrees it has a built-in noise
reduction microphone
it has a 2 million cmos image sensor
with automatic light correction
and it also includes a mini tripod that
you can screw onto the mounting bracket
and this mounting tripod adds
convenience
because now you can place this webcam on
a shelf or a desk
pretty cool
so basically this is everything you get
with the tenvis webcam
and i do like this tripod option so now
let's go ahead and mount this to my
monitor and then hook it up to the
computer
so once again this is a very easy
installation
it's just a plug and play no software or
drivers to install
windows should detect it and set it up
automatically
so now let's go ahead and test it with a
zoom call

all right guys so now we're going to
test out this webcam through a zoom call
we'll test the video quality first and
then we'll test the audio quality
all right so let's go ahead and talk
about the video quality of this webcam
first off is 1080p full hd and that's
pretty typical for most webcams bear in
fact any webcam that i have used and
reviewed
is 1080p that's typical uh most webcams
have
90 95 degree viewing angles this one is
120 degrees
which is pretty awesome i like that
because if you're in a meeting say a
board meeting with four or five people
this gives the viewing angle to see
everybody when they're talking
but i like that a lot there's a little
distortion over here i can see
but other than that it looks good to me
okay now let's go ahead and talk about
the audio quality for this webcam
now this webkit only has one microphone
and the microphone is pretty sensitive
a lot of webcams will have two
microphones at the top this has one
microphone
and i found that i had an issue
recording the audio on my computer
through my obs software and i had to add
noise gate and noise compression
to get rid of that background noise i'm
guessing that the microphone is really
sensitive and it picks up every little
nuance in the background so be aware of
that this microphone is very sensitive
and i think it's great probably because
if you're in a conference with several
people
it'll pick up what they're saying as
well in the background so if you have
someone in the front
maybe somebody in the back you'll be
able to hear them in the back as well
other than that i like the audio a lot
in the video as well looks great
also one more thing i want to talk about
with this webcam is they give you a
little mini tripod
you can put this on the webcam and then
you can put this anywhere
on a desk on a shelf so it kind of makes
it a little bit
more versatile and the bottom of the
webcam
mount has a screw hole where you can
screw this into so
pretty cool neat little feature i like
this okay as far as the review goes
we recommend this webcam that's because
the video quality is impressive
the wide viewing angle which is great
especially for a conference call
with four or five people in the same
room that way you can see everybody
uh the audio is a little tricky i do
recommend using the noise gate or voice
compression if you're going to just do a
single
person conference call like this because
you're giving a lot of background noise
i don't know if this microphone is super
sensitive or not
it could be because in a conference room
you want to hear everybody speaking
maybe you know behind you and around you
that's probably why it's very sensitive
other than that i totally recommend this
webcam it's a great deal
