hi guys on this episode we're going to
be finding the mavic mini
at the grand canyon state park
wait what you can't fly a drone at the
grand canyon or any state park
that's 100 correct you shouldn't fly any
drone at any state park or even any
airport
it's illegal and the finals can be huge
however
if you are determined to fly a drone at
say the grand canyon
these are the only three rules you'll
need to know to successfully fly a drone
at any state park without getting caught
and of course being safe
as possible first rule first and
foremost you should fly the mavic mini
and no other drone
the reason it's small lightweight and
doesn't need
faa registration it's also very portable
and it's not nearly as loud as the
larger drones
this makes it harder to see and hear
from medium distances
these factors make it a perfect choice
to take quick drone shots
in not so illegal situations second rule
if you're determined to fly your drone
at a state park then make sure it's not
crowded
preferably an off-peak season or maybe
when the park first opens
this way you can fly with fewer people
around
and trust me loose lips sink ships
if you can fly with no one around that
would be optimal
third rule if you dare fly your drone to
state park
look for times when the state parks are
staffed at lower levels
this means basically there are fewer
rangers or staff
walking around less staffing means the
best chance to fly a drone without
getting a ticket
and or banned so before flying it's a
must to look around for any park workers
rangers or staff they will be wearing
badges
and one more thing make sure to pack
your drone in a backpack or maybe a
handbag
you don't want to walk around your drone
case in the park that puts a target on
your back
and make sure your drone batteries are
fully charged and inserted in your drone
you want to be ready to fly quickly and
safely
like i said before it is illegal and you
should not fly in a state park or in an
airport
