How to Add More Storage to Your Ps4 Quickly and Easily!

hi guys welcome back to ultimate tech hub on today's episode I'm gonna show you how to add storage to ps4 using any extra hard drive it's quick and it's easy so I found an external hard drive under my desk that had for about two years and I haven't uses drive for a while and the data on it is not needed it's a 5 terabyte drive so that we plenty of extra hard drive space for the ps4 you can use any external hard drive just as long as it's a USB 3.0 the blue connector indicates that's a USB 3.0 and remember that this hard drive will be format during the install which means any data on this drive will be erased and remember to hit the subscribe button it's really important to keep this channel going thanks next plug in the power supply for the external hard drive and plug the USB 3.0 connection to other USB connections on the front of the ps4 done next power on the ps4 the ps4 has discovered the new drive next go to settings then devices and then USB storage then select the storage device and select format as external storage hit next and format and hit yes again [Music] that's it the external hard drive isn't ready hit okay let's transfer some applications from the ps4 storage to the new external hard drive this will free up space on our ps4 storage which is only 500 gigabytes go back into settings storage and in applications hit the select button to bring up the transfer application menu select apps to transfer I chose games that I do not play as much to be on the external hard drive select move and then ok well we're all done here and I want to remind you if you liked this video give a thumbs up and share it if you love it hit subscribe it's completely free thanks for watching [Music]
