Welcome back to the Ultimate Tech Hub! In this video, we’re installing a backup UPS inside a very crowded home network panel. Our goal: protect critical devices during power outages.

The UPS is a 360-watt APC unit featuring seven outlets, surge protection, auto-shutdown software, quick mute, and one USB charging port. First, we open the unit, connect the red battery wire, and review mounting options.

The network panel is packed with devices, including a Ruckus switch, multiple hubs, a fiber modem, and more. To make space, we remove the 2TB cloud storage and reposition devices. By raising the switch with new screw holes and shifting the power strip, we create room for the UPS.

Cable management is crucial. We use Velcro straps and zip ties to organize Cat6 cables. Some devices, like the HDMI extender, are mounted using double-sided tape. The modem and switch are relocated, and we ensure everything is tightly secured without damaging components.

We mount the UPS using Velcro and long zip ties. Although seven outlets are available, only five could be used due to bulky power adapters. We plug in all essential devices: modem, router, switches, and NVR system.

After final adjustments—including mounting the Ring Elite injector higher and tucking away cables—the UPS fits perfectly. Wire management is clean, airflow is maintained, and the panel looks optimized.

This setup ensures our network stays online during outages. The added USB port is a bonus for charging phones or tablets. Check the video description for a purchase link, and consider supporting the channel on Patreon!
